A dream becoming reality : partly thanks to their then-Dutch manager, The Alan Parsons Project performs live for the first time. Alan Parsons himself is not on stage, but behind the mixing desk, and Eric Woolfson watches from the wings. Some great studio musicians shine on stage, joined by Gary Brooker (known from Procul Harum), among others. This time, Andrew Powell does conduct ‘his’ music himself. Yet another French film composer cancels: Francis Lai stays with a seriously ill relative, and is replaced by singer Nicolle Croisille.
